A RACE AGAINST THE DYING LIGHT

I've just spent some cold and blustery but beautiful days in a happy valley in Dorset with my lovely friend Ann (Collins). We stayed in a gorgeous old house with inglenook and aga (thank you Jane) and took piles of fabric and some of my borders, a sewing machine and a state of the art digital camera. As I stitched, Ann shot. The days are so short at this time of year, it got to be a race against the dying light. But I think we did well. Here are some of the very first photos we took.
