THE APRON

The hopeless romantic in me just loves Kate Forman's faded floral linens.  So faded you can hardly see the pretty little birds holding aloft the garlands of roses on this delightful print.  Christmas Make No 6 is still focussed on the kitchen - an apron to wear during preparation of all the culinary delights of the season.

I washed and dried the linen before I started, and cut the shape using another apron as a pattern, leaving enough space around all edges to turn in a narrow hem.  Add a loop of ribbon at the top and 2 ties on either side, and a pocket in the middle.  

Let the cooking commence!
