Here's a really quick and easy gift to make for someone this Christmas - a tea towel, all the better to dry up after the Christmas dinner is done!  And, to make it really special, personalise it with some cross-stitch initials in one corner.

I picked this narrow width linen up on holiday in France - but The Cloth House in Berwick Street in London does a very similar narrow width linen in stripes.  You'll need about 0.75cm.  Plus a snippet of tape to make a loop in one corner, and some embroidery thread for the initials.  

Its the thought that counts!
